10月19日～21日のAsiaDイベントにAndy Rubin氏が出席、Ice Cream Sandwich関連の話が出てくるかも
次期Androidバージョンとなる”Ice Cream Sandwich”の公開時期は、Google会長のEric Schmidt氏によれば10月～11月。ちょうどその頃にあたる10月19日～21日、香港においてWSJ主催のAsiaD:AllThings Digitalイベントが開催される予定で、そのイベントにAndroid開発者であるGoogleのAndy Rubin氏が出席する予定であることから、イベント期間中にIce Cream Sandwichが公開されるのではないかといった予測記事が出回っています。
イベントはエレクトロニクスショーではなく、ハイテク・メディア業界の著名人を中心とした会議といったもの。昨年10月のD8でRubin氏はHoneyomb搭載のXOOM試作機を使ったGoogle Maps 5.0等のデモを行いました。Ice Cream Sandwichがこの期間中に公開されるかどうかといった話は別として、Ice Cream Sandwichに関連した話は出てくるのではないでしょうか。Nexus Primeを使った機能デモとか？単なる予想です。
